30 Years At The Top Of The Game.
Founded by master stylist Doug Thompkins — the “Godfather of Barbering” — Flavaz has been a proud Black-owned institution on Main Street in Lithonia since the mid-1990s. What started with the barber chairs has grown into a full destination: a salon, a bar & lounge, a tattoo parlor, and a spa on the way.
Doug has won 50+ competitions, created the Flat Twist and Black Out, and appeared on BET's Tears, Shears & Beauty. Just as important is giving back — through FLAVA KIDS free back-to-school cuts and feeding the community. That same championship talent is in every chair, for every client who walks through the door.
